No longer want to use them. Even though they put a loud motor in my living room, they don't care. They didn't tell me that the new motor would be noisier than the old one, which they had put in years ago and didn't make noise. If I don't buy a new one, they won't fix it. - Omar N.
I took time out of my schedule so that Solar Energy Systems could come out and give me an estimate. Mike from Solar Energy Systems came to our house and looked around. He said he'd send us an estimate in a few days. No one called or emailed for a week. I called his office and asked what was wrong. The woman there said she would call him and have him send the estimate. No one got in touch for another five days. I think this is how they usually act, and if this is how they act during the sales process, the installation process will be even worse. I would never recommend a business that treats a potential customer this way. - Omar Z.
Two years ago, Solar Energy Systems did the installation for us. The planning process made a mistake and thought that only 20 panels would be enough for a two-story home with over 4000 square feet and 7 people living there. Sunpower makes good products, but SunPro Solar chose not to install enough panels. Because of this, the tracking fee for the first year was well over $1000, and the fee for the second year was over $2000. (and it will continue to increase). I just bought a more advanced Sunpower system from Semper Solaris Construction Inc., which is run by veterans and, by the way, gives a military discount. Their analysis of how we use power shows that we need to DOUBLE our Sunpower system. SunPro Solar has made a pretty big mistake there. A year ago, SunPro said no to all requests to change or expand the system. I can't recommend SunPro Solar for the installation of your Sunpower Solar Panels. - Colin K.
First, I'll talk about the good things. Great product, fair price, and ways to pay for it. Sadly, that's all I can say from my own experience. I started working with Solar Energy Systems the first week of June, and I still don't have a system four months later. I don't know when I will have one. Even though there were some problems at first and there wasn't much communication, I've stuck with Solar Energy Systems, but things haven't gotten better. I have to keep getting in touch with them to find out what's going on. I got my HOA approval two weeks ago, but I still haven't heard anything from them. I don't know, maybe they just don't want to take care of my installation? - Tobias M.
My wall-mounted solar array has been broken since the last week of December. When I noticed the issue, I contacted Solar Energy Systems to let them know there was a problem and that they needed to address it. My $45,000 system, installed three years ago, is still under warranty, but Solar Energy Systems did nothing but make me feel better. - Zayn N.
Our attic is completely powered by solar energy systems, and we even use solar water heating and a solar-powered fan. This was the best choice I've ever made. Our spacious 2,900-square-foot house features soaring ceilings throughout. Maintaining a comfortable temperature in our south Florida home used to cost us between $500 and $600 per month in electricity costs. That's completely absurd! When we last paid, it was for close to $120. Our home's value went up, so it was money well spent. - Brian O.
I really value their forthrightness; they were fantastic, and they drove over an hour to get to me. They did an excellent job, and the results were fantastic. The work was excellent, and I really appreciate that they cleaned up after themselves. They were careful to keep my pets safe and treated them with kindness. I would confidently suggest them to anyone. - Niko T.
Solar Energy Systems did an excellent job installing my solar panels, and I couldn't be happier with the results. I'm glad I sifted through 15 other options before settling on this one. It has been 6 months since the installation, and I continue to receive monthly deposits. - Rory U.
The staff at Solar Energy Systems has proven to be extremely helpful and pleasant to work with. About a year ago, we installed a system that produces enough energy (in kilowatt-hours) to more than cover the energy needs of our 2,100-square-foot, all-electric house. Going solar has been a great choice so far; it has been reliable and is quickly approaching the point where it will return our investment and then some. - Derek W.
During the month of August 2018, Solar Energy Systems installed our system. We have made some adjustments to our 50-year-old farmhouse so that we can make better use of solar power. My husband and the representatives worked diligently to identify and resolve any issues that arose. Moreover, they ensured that their system is compatible with our vintage farmhouse. They adapted the size of our unit to our previous energy consumption, prepared the necessary paperwork, installed our system on schedule, and have maintained an active interest in its performance to this day. We are very pleased with the excellent service we have received from this establishment. Simply put, they are incredible. If you're interested in installing solar panels on your property, Solar Energy Systems is the company to contact. - Cody G.
