"You won't find a worse service provider than this one. If you're interested in solar energy, choose another company to work with. Over 9 months have passed since they installed solar panels, and they have yet to react to any inquiries or attempts at communication. Still no connection! Horrible." - Blake G.

"I joined Solar Kit Direct in March and have had solar panels installed on my roof ever since. The panels stopped producing electricity in July, so Solar Kit Direct sent a repair crew my way. The expert who arrived at my house said that my battery had likewise been malfunctioning and was only functioning at 30% of its potential. The guy was great and helped get everything working again fast. For nearly a week after Solar Kit Direct installed it, neither my solar panels nor my batteries were producing any usable electricity. My Edison bill also went through the roof about this time. I contacted Solar Kit Direct in hopes of getting a refund, but they said I didn't qualify and offered me $85 instead. I asked for a follow-up, but nobody bothered to get in touch with me. I would not suggest using Solar Kit Direct. If you decide to buy solar panels from them, you may expect to interact with them for at least the next two decades. You should cut ties with the firm immediately if you get treated like this. I'd appreciate it if Solar Kit Direct got in touch with me if they saw this. I'd prefer to have this sorted out as soon as possible." - Colton V.

"It's been nearly a week since I posted my review of Solar Kit Direct, and I still haven't heard anything from the company. They don't value their clients. Here, I've left their answer for everybody to show how seriously they took the matter. Right now, if I could get out of my agreement with them, I definitely would. As I said in my previous review, the crew coming to fix the stain they left on my roof while replacing it showed up to my home today without my knowledge. No one is talking to one another. "This firm has horrible salespeople that are encouraged to be aggressive and dishonest. They'll falsely identify themselves as employees of the local power company. In many instances, the salesperson arrived beyond 8 o'clock. I begged them to stop soliciting but they persisted; I told them to go but they kept coming back. What nerve! "This business is the worst I've ever dealt with. They threatened legal action if I tried to terminate the contract. Our system upgrade started in December 2019 and by February 2022 everything was up and running well. The customer service is horrible; I have never called or talked to someone who really understood what they were talking about in regards to resolving my issue. The seller was very clear in his explanations, and the result was just as he predicted. In the first year, my system earned 8 percentage points more than promised. I got an offer from a firm called ION, and they tried to under-size my system by saying that it would be sufficient even without access to my consumption data, so that was a serious alarm bell for me. Fortunately, I decided to call for a second price and talked to an open and friendly salesman. The two-year manufacturing warranty, in-house staff, and no outside contractors all contributed to the fact that I decided to pay a little extra for their services.
