"Ten months is a long time, but that's how long it took. The employees' arrival times were not communicated to me promptly. Not everyone is a 9-to-5er. In addition, there was a lack of transparency within your own team on the status of my project. The buck stops with management. Excellent and competent staff were assigned to the project. Problems arose with scheduling and communicating with customers. Your right-hand doesn't know what your left is doing. After I broke the ice and began chatting to Teresa, we were able to communicate much more effectively. The bridge, however, had already been destroyed by the fire. "I was pleased with Edison Solar's offer for installing solar panels, both financially and conceptually, when I first got it. Because they needed final statistics from my electricity provider, they indicated it was preliminary. This delay was not communicated to me by any other provider, nor was I requested to sign a utility release form. They were supposed to submit a new offer within two weeks, but they never did. When I contacted the sales rep, he promptly sent one to me. After reviewing the proposal, I expressed my willingness to commit. The salesman promised to overnight a contract the next day. It's been a week and he hasn't gotten back to me yet. I didn't feel like I should have to hunt down their salesmen, and after seeing other complaints on this forum about how long it took for them to respond, I decided to go with a different provider." - Richard T.

"After seeing how well solar worked at work, I decided to put it in my own home as well. The sales team and the installers were fantastic, and the pricing is reasonable; nevertheless, the customer service is a major letdown. Nothing has been switched on in over six months. Joel should take a course in customer service after a client filed a request for an update and photos of some of the ensuing back-and-forth, in which Joel repeatedly promised to complete the job before finally doing so three months later. Also included are images of them explaining that they ran into problems, fell behind, and failed to submit necessary documents, delaying the process by a few weeks (their fault, not the consumers'). "My new home's solar system was custom-designed by the firm using data we provided about our power use in our previous apartment. Compared to the unit we previously resided in, our new house is enormous. They even sold me their smallest inverter model. The power produced by my solar panels exceeds the capacity of my inverter. Therefore, I am unable to increase my system's output in order to power more electric vehicles, water heaters, garage heaters, etc. When I inquired for a bigger inverter after discovering the problem shortly after the system's launch, I was informed that I would not be given credit for the smaller one. My request for a quotation on a more robust system has gone unanswered for some time now." - Victor K.

"I erected my home eight years ago. Needed sun power forever. Took their quotations at that time. Getting the output I needed would have required both a roof installation and a ground mount, and I don't have a lot of south-facing roof. That will increase the price, of course. Repeatedly revisited every several years. This year, panels finally had enough electricity. What used to take 20 people on the ground, 11 can now perform from atop their buildings. Overall, we were able to save almost 50% of the original budget. Therefore, I was forced to pull the trigger. In a word, expert. Completed the work in less time than expected.
