"I like having solar energy, but I was led to believe that it would not be necessary for me to purchase more electricity for my house. As a result, I have been forced to pay an electric bill that is now over $500 and will continue to rise in addition to my payment for solar energy. Even though we had a "Do Not Molest" sign hanging on our door, the guys from your company still knocked on our door and tried to talk to us about their services in connection with the smart meter replacement. They were not rude, but their strategy was deceptive, and if I were installing solar panels in my home, I would not work with a firm that ignored our "Do Not Molest" sign. "I feel fooled. When I was sold the solar panels, it was made out to seem that at tax time, you add your solar panel costs to your taxes and you get money back and then if you apply for that money you got back from taxes to your loan then you get to keep your monthly payment low. Turns out, you don’t get money back from taxes. It gives you a credit if you happen to owe taxes so you would have to come up with thousands of dollars so you can pay down your loan to keep your monthly payment. My monthly payment was supposed to be $120 which I was happy with because that was the average that I was paying monthly for power already. Since I now don’t get money back from taxes and don’t have over $7000 that I can just pay down my loan for solar panels, my monthly payment increases to $170 which is way more on average than what I was paying before I had solar panels." - Riley H.

"While we appreciate having solar power, our experience has been less than ideal. The salesman omitted certain significant information about the financing and the operation of the solar system. 1) The fact that, after just 17 months, your loan payment will have almost doubled, and that's assuming you qualify for a tax credit. 2) Why we continue to pay the electric company to use their grid Three) The fact that our premiums went up a little since we had solar panels installed. Not ideal for budgeting, as we kept discovering them after the fact and felt duped and as like all these additional stuff made it not the perfect bargain it seemed like. I also didn't appreciate how the salesman pressured us to sign a contract by having us set up a "account" before we were sure we wanted to go through with it. There was a three-day cancellation period, after which we would have been charged. Even though the salesman assured us that we wouldn't have to pay anything, I was already skeptical since I had signed a document indicating that there would be a charge. Then, for whatever "issue" we were never informed about, we had to wait two full months after passing municipal inspection before our panels would be activated. Again, this is not ideal because we are also making payments on our solar loan and our electricity bill. When considering going solar, it's important to do your research and not let yourself be pressured into making a hasty decision." - Kaleb P.

"In general, my experience with Revo Home Solutions was positive up to the point of installation, however things quickly deteriorated after Kylee became my project coordinator. After the county reviewed the work, it took over a month (from December 13th to January 12th) and a few irate phone calls to get her to give me any information on the job.
