"Terrible ordeal; numerous issues resulted in wasted effort, money, and emotional strain on our family. One of the firms responsible for the negative reputation of its industry. The bad news is that we located them. We are now five months overdue on our first loan payment, and their customer service and communication have been terrible. When I finally got through to a Customer Service rep a few months back, I was met with nothing but sincere apologies and assurances that any problems from the past would be resolved. "I was told that by installing a 5-kilowatt system in my home I could reduce my energy consumption by 60% and that the system would pay for itself within a year; however, I have seen no savings, the rebate check was never sent, and the IRS refund was not the correct amount quoted (I had to hire an attorney and am currently planning to sue them). The business is a fraud. The system was offered at a price that was double that of the competition.
