"The service has left me quite unhappy. You'll hear nothing but the truth from them. Yet immediately after your signature, they vanish. I began this in July and it's nearly November with no service in sight. My solar panel installment is due in a few days, but I haven't yet paid off my power bill. I regret not investigating them more before deciding to work with them. Please don't use them if you're reading this. I don't want anybody else to have to go through what all of us here have. I think they work with other solar firms to have the panels set up, but I might be wrong. That's why they don't give a damn after you sign the dotted line. Nevertheless, they performed the exact reverse of what they said they would do. In six weeks, he said, the service will be operational. That's why I need 25 panels. They claimed the additional power generated by merely installing 24. Nothing they say makes any sense to me now. The last audit of my system failed, and now we must wait for the next one. I have to follow up repeatedly in an effort to hasten the process, but Sunrun can't be discovered. I am so dissatisfied that I plan to leave negative feedback anywhere I can." - Barry N.

"My husband and I decided on this company over a year ago to install solar panels. We could rest easy if we switched to solar energy and had a Tesla battery backup system built since power outages are very regular in California. We lost electricity about six months after it was built, so we could finally test it out. Well, it didn't work. Just half of it had a backup, and that was the most crucial information like what was in the refrigerators and freezers. When we phoned Tungsten Solar, they confirmed that, on their end, we were definitely getting just partial backup power. They sent inspectors to our site, who found the flaws, and promised to get in touch with us to arrange a time to make the necessary repairs. That was more than half a year ago! They have canceled or failed to show up for our planned meetings FOUR times. My spouse and I have agreed to stay in every time there is a cancellation or no-show. However, we've had two power outages this week alone, and the service that we're paying for keeps breaking down. Even when we told them it had been a year after installation and six months of struggling to have it corrected, they made no attempt to move us to the head of the queue. I would rate it lower if that was an option. You should look elsewhere for the service you're paying for." - Dean M.

Your customer service department has been no help and doesn’t return phone calls or respond to emails. I have been trying to get help reinstalling the system for 3 months now. "Based on my current experience, I am decreasing my rating by one star. Three of my solar panels are only generating 35% as much as other solar panels in the same area, so I phoned customer service to complain. After being on hold for an hour, I was finally assured that the solar system is functional (and meeting the needed daily average). Ignorant nonsense. "In 2017, I had my system installed by Tungsten Solar. The number of problems is incalculable. After 7 months of operation, my system has only produced 1300 kilowatt hours (kwh). Fought the firm for a long time. They sold me a system for $11,000, claiming it would increase my savings and income by a particular percentage. But now my monthly expenses have doubled to $1,650. Three times they revised the production numbers, and each time it became substantially lower. They lied to me about the product's quality and made many other faults that set me back hundreds of dollars. Stay far away from them..." - Larry K.

When we decided to work with Tungsten Solar, we had a single point of contact for all inquiries and concerns. We were kept in the loop throughout the whole installation process with regular phone calls and emails. Such a fantastic installation crew we had! They were prompt, clear about their intentions, and communicative throughout the whole process. All the panels were erected on the rear of the home, and they not only look great but also fit in well. In fact, unless you look up at the roof, you may not even realize we had solar panels. Waiting for the utility provider to approve and install the net meter was the sole drawback. The installation was finished late in the season, but it has already paid for itself in terms of reduced electricity costs. The first full month (September) brought in over $120; next summer can't come soon enough! "Tungsten Solar treats its consumers like they're family, yet the company is large enough to take on the industry giants. These are the best there are. I'm pleased I didn't go with another installer after reading the reviews that all pointed to them as the worst option. Because of them, I now have the assurance to make the switch to solar energy after years of worrying about technology, laws, etc. I wish we had started this process earlier than May 2018. So far, it seems like we'll be able to produce even more power than they predicted. Another item I wouldn't entrust to a business I hadn't researched beforehand. I am a cheapskate who enjoys finding the "lowest price," but not if it means sacrificing quality or taking unnecessary risks. It's possible that I paid a bit more for my investment with Tungsten Solar than I would have with another firm, but it's important to me that my money was well spent.
