"Complete and utter ineptitude. Throughout this whole process, communication has ranged from nonexistent to wrong. We've been working on this for months, and there's still no word on when the system will be up and running, and that's without even including the damage they caused to our property during the installation that has yet to be repaired." - Micheal B.

"Do not use this service! Installing solar panels has not lowered my electric bill; in fact, it has increased. The vendor updated their contact information. He also assured me that "everything was working on their end" and that I would get a response soon; no one else responded to my messages. No one has tried to contact me. This was a major purchase that ended badly due to incompetence and negligence. In my opinion, they are avoiding responsibility for their error in estimating the number of solar panels we need. "Suntalk was a frustrating firm to deal with due to its inefficient staff. It took longer than expected (almost 8 months) and the installation was poor and hurried. The electrician's phony ceiling wiring installation, which resulted in his failing the inspection, was discovered after he hid the ends of the line in a wall. They probably likely stomped about your home in their muddy boots and stole something from you. I would never invite them back to my house." - Kane E.

"A low point in my life. Source NRG, with whom we have a contract for the installation of a solar energy system, insisted on having our solar system installed by this firm. Suntalk Solar treats the utility company it works with far better than it does you, the client. The solar system we installed is inefficient, plagued by problems, and has not reduced our energy costs; on the contrary, we now pay the same amount for our electricity as before plus the cost of the solar panels. There is no way to contact a human being at customer support and you have to pay for a house call from a technician in advance. Absolutely no guarantees are made. Expect to wait until the end of summer before having anything replaced; the work will be completed in the winter. It's the only time of day when our system "works" since there is no sun. You keep paying for utilities and a solar array that isn't producing any usable energy. We purchased a three-legged horse for racing, but we didn't learn that fact until we paid for it and saw it gallop. Stay well away from these con artists if you value your money." - Jonathon I.

"It breaks me heart to report that the whole ordeal has been terrible. About five years ago, we had solar panels installed, and for about all of that time, they have either not worked at all, or have generated barely enough to pay the cost of having them. I had a terrible difficulty reaching them to have items corrected before the warranty expired, but eventually got in touch with one of their employees who really attempted to do his job. Despite this, it was a full year after I requested for new panels that they finally agreed to do so. We have seen no change in our power bill despite their on-and-off switching and claims of collection. The panels were supposed to capture between 70 and 80 percent of our energy needs, but we have seen nothing near that amount. I'd appreciate it if the firm could respond and fix the problem." - Moses L.

"SunTalk installed our solar panels four years ago. Our roof was damaged by hail last month, so the panels had to be removed. SunTalk first estimated a three-week wait before they could arrange the removal (but showed up early and without warning). Panel reinstallation is expected to take another three weeks. And this is at a rate that is double or triple what other solar energy providers charge. Our roofing firm has dealt with many different solar panel vendors, and the rates they have given have always been shocking. I was underwhelmed by the service they provided to returning consumers. "SunTalk Solar was a fantastic company to work with. While Apex Solar Solutions arranged for the installation and finance, it was SunTalk that performed a fantastic job for us. The installation process just took two days, and the system looks great. It might have been completed in a single day if not for the midway point inspections required by the city. The greatest amount of time was spent waiting for Xcel Energy and plan approvals. A few weeks in, we had an inverter fail, but they quickly replaced it. (needed to order the item) We organized the whole installation process with Yessinia, who we contacted for warranty service. Our time spent with SunTalk has been very positive." - Tobias O.

Suntalk's offer was the most affordable of the four I got, and I like to think that my business with them will help the local economy. "I love SunTalk Solar. Everything is awesome... I had a lot of questions and the managers were very helpful in answering them. I can't believe that solar energy doesn't have extra costs (for most people). In light of the current emergency, why isn't everyone doing it? You don't have to spend a dime since the credit is small and the tax credit is (hopefully) still available.
