"I am not happy with the unstable project timeline and poor communication. The system was scheduled to be installed in February. It was installed in May. Then had to write several emails and call BGB, Northwest Energy, and the City of Helena. The inspection was not scheduled by BGB until 3 weeks after the panels were installed. I had to wait for NWE to install the net meter when everything was ready. The system ended up running on my roof for another 6 weeks without generating a single kWh." - Jaydon A.

"Due to roof issues, I had to arrange for the solar panels to be removed and re-installed (after spending over 30 minutes searching the internet). We could not find any instructions on the website for removing the panels. You can only find an interlocutor if you wait a long time. "A BGB technician finally showed up after 6 weeks, and it took another week to get the system back up and running. And I had to initiate everything by calling the Inverter firm. "My 10-year lease on solar panels from Bozeman Green Build is still in effect. No issues with the product itself. However, now that I need to replace my deteriorating roof, it has been about three months since I first applied for permission for the necessary repairs. It's excruciatingly expensive for something that has to be removed. Removal alone might cost over $3,000, with reinstallation costing an additional $3,000. In all, you may expect to pay roughly $7,000. Which is very pricey in comparison to the savings on our energy bill. Not installing solar panels may have saved me money. Putting on these solar panels was a mistake. Even worse, the agent sends emails but I never get them, while other agents can pass the email to me over the phone and it goes through quite well. It hurts so much to contact them; I've probably done it ten or more times, and each call takes at least an hour. It's been a bad experience all around." - Nikolas J.

"I called to get details about a recent inspection. First, I spoke to a customer service representative; when he was unable to answer my questions, I asked to be connected to a manager. After a short time, he said that "he was not available." When I asked to get the manager again, he gave me the same answer. He said it was evident from the fact that I was looking at him while he was busy. I assured him I would wait and he said I would have to wait 48 to 72 hours to speak to a manager. Among the worst customer service experiences I've ever encountered, this one ranks among the worst. If you are considering solar power, do not choose BGB." - Kelvin L.
